Oh Great! I meet a Freak Today!

orang tua2 pesan, kalau jumpa orang yg tidak dikenali, jangan ikut.

so, i was just walking home from the cafe after terawih. and as i was walking down the path near the library while making some drama, you know, just fooling around- friend was pulling my hand and i was resisting him. and then, out of a sudden, there was this old Arab man who said that "u can`t pull him, his too fat."

wah! sesuka hati betul org tua ni kata aku gemuk~~ tapi, the way he said it- you know, the friendly-kind-of-way made me just like 'hahahaha, u`re a very funny old man'. (=_=!)

and that`s when it started.

then, this funny old man decided to walk with us since our destination was the same way with ours. . btw, there was three of us and him. and then we talked. he was surprisingly fluent in Malay. and his from Jordan. and when i asked his name. he said that we should know his name. and i thought that he`s a little bit of psycho but, we just pushed the feeling away.

based on our conversation, he seemed to know a lot about the malays. he said that the malays were not friendly- very different from the arabs who he said would hugged and kissed among themselves even if they just knew each other for a very short time. and it was very rare for the malays to invite foreigners into their rooms. so, i thought that there was some truth in it. and all of a sudden, he said that his friends couldn`t meet him that night and he would like to go to our rooms.

since i was admittedly a little bit impressed by him and the conversation that we just had just now implied that the malays was not friendly, so i thought why not right? and  i invited him to my friends` room. so we talked and talked- about our courses, about unity of muslims, about our religious background and about himself. he claimed himself to be the experts of mathematics and religion. and he knew many languages too. "MasyaAllah" this man was great! i thought. oh, how naive was i. he was currently pursuing his PHD. hrmmm,

but the main thing that he said was that - he loved all muslims.. and he said that he was greatly saddened by how the malays treat him after he had helped them. he even said that he had met this poor student and he gave the student money, phone, and clothes. generous ain`t he? he even said that if we need any help, he would be willing to help, just said what you want, and i`ll gave it to you asap. and many others bla.. bla... bla... the one thing that he said was that - he liked us very much, and we liked him too but not as much as he liked us. i also found that he`s a very good speaker. e.g, he hold my friend`s hand and looked straight into his eyes.

we talked and talked and luckily, our senior, brother abd rahman, came in. as soon as he came in, i saw in his face that he` was very uncomfortable with the man. he, with stern voice called out one of my friend, and they were gone off the room. and later my other friend also went out. leaving me with him. that`s when i noticed something fishy about the man. he was saying something about how people who seemed pious like our senior was not actually a very good muslim. he said that our senior was judgmental and said bad things about him outside. i was thinking- earlier, he said that we should not judge people, so, why was he judging our senior?. hrmm. and after that, he asked me to call my friends because he wanted to said goodbye before he go. (he`s hasty all of a sudden)

so, i called, my friend came, and he gave us his e-mail and asked for one of my friend`s number. so we took and we gave. he even one to catch pictures together with us. wah, so sweet but also again, psycho of him rite? he also took a long time to say goodbye and gave us a lot of advice. and he went.

as soon as he was out, my friends quickly closed the door, locked it, teared the calligraphy that the arab man draw for him earlier, and of course delete the picture that we took with that man. why?

because it turned out that the man was really a psycho. T_T

brother rahman told us that a lot of a students had "suddenly" met him, and he came to their rooms too. and he was staying not a students nor a lecturer here as he claimed- he was staying in the musolla and mosque. and he had been staying here since last semester. and even was once asked to leave by the guard. but still, he was here, looking for victims for god-knows-what. some said that he was a wahabi, or syiah and was trying to spread some kind of dakyah here. meremang bulu roma aku tau!

come to think of it, it all make sense- he`s so generous and loving towards strangers- i don`t know if arabs is actually like that. and all his talks about religion things and he even asked about our religious background. great! i met a freak today! hahahaa. btw, i think that he`s good in psychology- he managed to make us let him into our room and we barely knew him, and we`re not the only one.

but, this is a very serious matter. what if some students gone astray because of him? nauzubillahiminzalik~ just hoping that he would never come to our room again! huhu

conclusion of the story- jangan ajak orang yang tak dikenali masuk bilik! T_T. orang macam ni berada di mana2. kawan2, sila berhati2 ye. huhuhu.

p/s- mujur brother rahman masuk just in time. nyesal delete gambar tadi, kalau x boleh la ltak sini. hehehe
